REGISTRATION - FREE!
The ride is limited to 200 riders and adults, so we recommend you sign up early. All riders must fill out a waiver, and riders under 18 must have a parental/guardian sign the waiver. Riders under 14 must be accompanied by an adult who is also riding. One adult may supervise up to five youth.
Online registration is free and guarantees your spot in the ride. You may also download this paper form (as a PDF file) and bring it to you on the day of the ride.
JOIN THE PARADE!
The Cirque du Cycling Family Ride is a looped route with two options after the ride. Children may either choose to end the ride or to continue on as a group to the Art Bike Parade. The children in the parade will all ride together in one huge group as a part of the parade.
ABOUT THE ROUTE
The route is relatively flat and travels along quiet city streets. Streets are not closed to traffic and all riders must obey the rules of the road. It is recommended that new riders practice riding on quiet streets several times before the day of the ride so that they can learn how to safely ride in the street. We also suggest they take a spin around the block at the event before the family ride starts to warm up their legs and get ready for a big group ride.
Parents are responsible for the safety of the children they are supervising. Volunteer ride-along ambassadors will be assisting with the ride, and more ambassadors are needed. Please let friends and family know! This is a fun position that allows adult and teen riders to model safe riding practices.
